SOME SIGNS SHOULDN’T BE VINYL. HAND-PAINTED WORK LOOKS RIGHT WHERE PLASTIC NEVER WILL.
Hand-painted and specialty painted signage for Central Coast businesses – brick walls, heritage frontages, timber and murals, done with proper masonry-grade paint that weathers instead of peeling. Send us photos of the surface and we’ll tell you honestly whether paint or panel is the better call.

The Wrong Finish on the Right Wall Wastes Both

Plenty of great walls get ruined by the quick option. Vinyl stuck to textured brick starts lifting at the top edge within months, traps water behind it, and eventually comes off in strips with dirt lines baked underneath. It looks worse than the bare wall it replaced.
Bad paintwork ages just as badly. Cheap paint over an unsealed, unprimed surface chalks and fades unevenly, and hand lettering done without proper layout looks amateur from the first day and never improves. On a heritage frontage that’s not just a bad sign – it can be a permanent mark on a building people notice.
Every painted job we take on has to be:
- Surface-appropriate: Paint used where it genuinely outperforms vinyl, and we’ll say so when it doesn’t.
- Properly prepared: Cleaned, sealed and primed so the coating bonds to the substrate.
- Weather-rated: Exterior-grade systems with UV-stable pigments and a protective clear where needed.
- Set out properly: Layout and letterforms drawn and measured on the wall before any colour goes down.

What painted signage communicates
- Character: Paint reads as craft, not print.
- Permanence: It’s part of the building, not stuck to it.
- Authenticity: On older buildings it looks like it belongs, because it does.
- Craft: Visible skill implies a business that values it.
WHAT MAKES BESPOKE DIFFERENT
There’s a reason the old painted wall signs on brick buildings still stop people, decades after the business closed. They were made for that wall by someone standing on it. Nothing printed and applied has ever quite carried the same weight.
You can’t fake it either – a vinyl panel bolted to a beautiful brick facade always looks like something covering the building instead of something belonging to it. If you’ve got a wall worth painting, painting it is the answer.
The Central Coast Difference
ANYONE CAN ROLL PAINT ON A WALL. SETTING OUT LETTERING IS ANOTHER THING ENTIRELY.
Painted signage is unforgiving. There’s no re-print, no peel-and-reposition. Layout, spacing and letterform have to be right on the wall before the first coat, and the coating system has to suit the substrate or it fails regardless of how good the lettering is.

process can add additional time before we can install. we’ll factor this into your timeline from the
start.
Not anytime soon if its done right. We use commercial-grade panels, UV-resistant Perspex, and vinyl rated for 5–7 years outdoor use. Cheap signs fade quicker because of
cheap materials and poor preparation, we don’t take those shortcuts.
No problem. We offer design consultation and
can create signage that builds or matches your brand. Most clients just show us examples they
like and their existing brand colours, we create mockups from there.
Yes. We can match Pantone colours,
existing signage, and brand guidelines precisely. We’ll show you material samples and mockups

All quotes include: design consultation, design mockups, council
approval assistance (if needed), premium materials (ACM/Perspex/LED), professional
installation, electrical work for illuminated signs, and 12-month workmanship warranty. No
hidden fees.
With premium materials and proper installation, your shopfront

(5–7 years of daily use). UV-resistant vinyl lasts 5–7 years. Cheap signs fail in 12–24 months.
